Position: Midlevel Finance Associate (2011-2013)
Kaye Scholer is seeking a midlevel associate (3rd-5th year) to join our New York Finance Department. The associate will work primarily with the Syndicated and Leveraged Finance Practice, which supports not only the Finance Practice, but also the Corporate, Bankruptcy and Tax Practices. All candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must have strong academic credentials and excellent law firm employment history.
Kaye Scholer’s Finance practice serves leading US and international money centers, banks, commercial finance companies, insurance companies, merchant banks, buyout funds and other corporate borrowers in complex and traditional debt financing transactions. Our Syndicated and Leveraged Finance Practice has been recognized for four consecutive years by IFLR1000 as one of the leading firms in the United States in the area of bank lending (2013-2016).

Position: Junior Private Clients associate (JD 2013–2015)
Kaye Scholer is seeking a junior Private Clients associate to join the Tax/Private Clients team in the West Palm Beach, Florida office. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in complex estate and trust planning matters. Some experience in international estate and tax planning is preferred but not mandatory. All candidates must have strong academic credentials, excellent written and oral communication skills, great attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work well in a sophisticated team environment.
The Kaye Scholer Tax/Private Clients team counsels high-net-worth individuals, multigenerational families, family offices, closely held businesses, charitable entities, banks, and trust companies on all wealth planning and tax matters, including domestic and international tax planning; administration of trusts and estates; probate and fiduciary litigation; charitable giving; tax controversies; asset protection; and charitable organization and private foundation matters. Our role often involves structuring clients’ business affairs and family investments, investing in financial products, using trusts and other vehicles to structure investments, and dealing with tax issues arising from life-changing events such as marriage, divorce or death, on a US and global basis.
