I chose Kaye Scholer’s Summer Associate Program because: I wanted to work with a group of talented litigators. I was really impressed with the attorneys I met on my visits to the firm, and I felt like I would enjoy working with them. Kaye Scholer also struck me as a firm that placed a lot of value on teaching their associates and helping them develop as attorneys.
During the Summer Program I had the opportunity to work: in Bankruptcy, ERISA, a variety of Litigation groups, and on a few Pro Bono issues. The Summer Program allowed me to see a variety of practice areas. I spent most of my time working on litigation matters, researching legal issues and drafting briefs for partners and associates. I especially enjoyed working on a Pro Bono matter that allowed me to interview a client, work on her brief, and argue on her behalf.
I spend my free time: Jogging, reading, playing guitar
My favorite Summer event was: Rock band Idol
