Kaye Scholer Represents Avante Mezzanine Partners in Formation of its First Fund

Kaye Scholer represented Los Angeles-based general partner Avante Mezzanine Partners SBIC, LLC in the formation of Avante Mezzanine Partners SBIC, LP. Avante is one of the few woman majority-owned mezzanine funds in the country and has a particular interest, although not exclusive focus, on women-owned and minority-owned businesses. The Kaye Scholer team included partners G. Thomas Stromberg, Timothy Spangler and Michael D. Fernhoff, counsel Melanie Wayne and associate Elizabeth C. Sluder.
