Philip A. Giordano serves as counsel in Kaye Scholer’s Antitrust Practice. Drawing on more than 15 years of experience as a prosecutor in the Antitrust Division of the US Department of Justice (DOJ), most recently as a Trial Attorney in the National Criminal Enforcement Section, Philip represents and counsels clients regarding a variety of national and international antitrust matters, including complex criminal antitrust investigations and litigation, civil non-merger government investigations and mergers and acquisitions. His experience in antitrust matters spans a diverse set of industries, including computer hardware and software, auto parts, financial services, entertainment, publishing, chemicals, air cargo transportation and consumer goods. Philip maintains offices in Palo Alto, CA and Washington, DC.

Kimberly Gelfand is an Associate in the Complex Commercial Litigation Department of Kaye Scholer’s New York office. She currently focuses her practice on Medicaid fraud and pricing actions, internal investigations (including matters related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) and breach of fiduciary duty actions. She also works on employment and labor matters, with an emphasis on non-compete agreements, the Railway Labor Act and the National Labor Relations Act.

Debra Schreck is an Associate in Kaye Scholer’s Complex Commercial Litigation Department, representing clients in a variety of commercial matters. Debra defends individual and corporate clients in matters related to antitrust, securities and healthcare, including pharmaceutical companies involved in state and federal criminal and civil investigations of healthcare fraud. Debra also assists corporate clients in conducting large-scale internal investigations and advises them on matters related to internal compliance programs.

David K. Barr (07/22/14)

David K. Barr’s practice is concentrated in the areas of patent, trade secret, and unfair competition litigation and counseling. David’s experience includes litigation in federal and state courts, appeals to the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office. David has been lead trial counsel in many complex patent infringement cases, and has counseled clients on product development and strategic patent planning. He has extensive experience in intellectual property transactions, including licenses and acquisitions. David has conducted numerous patent due diligence investigations, and has drafted patent license and related agreements. His patent matters have involved a variety of technologies, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, industrial chemistry and biomedical and mechanical devices.
