Julius Berman has been involved in the litigation practice for over 30
years. He is Special Counsel in the Litigation/Antitrust Department and
in the Real Estate Litigation practice group. In real estate
litigation, Mr. Berman has successfully handled construction
litigation, major lease disputes and brokerage disputes, among others.
He has counseled major developers and large commercial landlords. While
many of Mr. Berman's professional activities have been transactional in
nature, the focus of his practice has been the development of long-term
relationships with clients, resulting in significant involvement and
experience in their various corporate, finance and business activities.
Mr. Berman has also been involved in extensive litigation practice
involving commodities, including the defense of antitrust actions, CFTC
regulatory proceedings and commodity exchange proceedings. He also has
been designated by various courts to handle the mediation of major
commercial litigation disputes.
