Some of Mel’s regular clients include American Securities, Arlington Capital, ACI Capital, Compass International, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (including its investment arm Ivanhoe Cambridge), Ingleside Investors and Fremont Group. Recent matters he has handled include ACI’s sale of the Sundance Catalog Company to Brentwood Associates; Caisse de dépôt’s participation in a co-investment program with a well-known private equity firm; a number of co-investment transactions for Ingleside and Fremont; and numerous transactions for American Securities, including its acquisitions of Globel Tel*Link and Unifrax I LLC and the sale of its interests in Delphi Midstream Partners’ natural gas pipelines to Williams Partners.
