Silvia Jordan is an associate in the Litigation Department of Kaye Scholer’s New York office. Her practice background includes representation of financial institutions, corporations and individuals in a broad range of litigation, including claims related to breaches of contract, fraudulent conveyance, patent infringement, and general commercial disputes. Silvia has been a lead associate in several matters at the pre-trial and trial stage in both federal and state court, and has actively participated in three trials.
MEHRSilvia plays a key role in all phases of the litigation process, from motion practice, discovery, to trial preparation. She has extensive experience drafting pleadings, interrogatories, document requests, and responses and objections to various discovery requests. She has also been involved in the preparation of witness examinations, and has participated in several depositions. Moreover, she has coordinated large scale paper and electronic discovery efforts with clients, opposing counsel, and multiple co-counsel and has supervised discovery teams ranging from 3 to 15 associates.
Silvia graduated summa cum laude from New York Law School, where she served as a member of the New York Law School Law Review. As a student, she also interned for the Honorable Richard Conway Casey, Southern District of New York.
Silvia is an active member of the firm’s pro bono program, and has represented several individuals in political asylum and social security disability benefits cases. Additionally, Silvia coaches the mock trial team of Bronx School of Law, Government and Justice High School, preparing students for regional and statewide mock trial competitions.

- Representation of an international Voice Over IP telecommunications manufacturer in patent infringement actions at trials towards a favorable settlement.
- Representation of a bank in a class action breach of contract litigation.
- Representation of former officer and director of AIG in a Martin Act action by the New York State Attorney General.
- Representation of international banks in fraudulent conveyance actions.
