Glenn Smith concentrates on corporate transactions and securities-related matters. These include investment and commercial financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and tax exempt financings. He has represented clients in a variety of industries, including healthcare, technology, biotechnology, real estate, aerospace and gaming. Prior to joining Kaye Scholer, Mr. Smith was Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Venture Catalyst Incorporated, where he also served on the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors. In addition to heading the legal department at Venture Catalyst, Mr. Smith's activities included strategic planning, angel and venture capital financings and acquisitions.
MEHRMr. Smith advises publicly-traded and privately-held corporations, investment banks, commercial banks and other financial institutions. He has represented both lenders and borrowers in a variety of secured and unsecured corporate credit facilities, restructuring processes, municipal financing, public and private debt offerings, Eurobond offerings and syndicated loan facilities. Mr. Smith has also organized and participated in various seminars on corporate finance and related management topics.
