Mr. Taliaferro is an Associate in the Litigation Department of Kaye Scholer's Washington, DC Office. He focuses his practice on litigation and administrative law, emphasizing litigation in the federal courts and before federal administrative agencies, including the Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Transportation ("DOT"). His practice also involves counseling clients with respect to deceptive advertising and other consumer issues.
MEHRHe has worked on trial and appellate litigation in a variety of fields, including government contracts, financial services, consumer protection, labor and employment, and airport law.

Successfully represented a bank in the appeal of a $16.7 million trial award arising out of the government's breach of a supervisory goodwill contract.
- Successfully defended terminal rates and charges imposed by an airport in a 49 U.S.C. § 47129 proceeding. Mr. Taliaferro is currently involved in an appeal of DOT's decision to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
- Represented a major European defense contractor in an international arbitration.
- Counseled clients regarding export control compliance matters before the U.S. Departments of State and Commerce.
- Successfully obtained court-ordered stay of FAA plan to auction airport slots.
Mr. Taliaferro earned a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. While there, he participated in moot court and served as president of the school's Federalist Society. Mr. Taliaferro completed his undergraduate work at Virginia Tech, where he received both a B.S. in chemical engineering and a B.S. in agricultural and applied economics.
