Lily Wound is Counsel in the Corporate Department of the New York office. Her practice focuses on the representation of clients in connection with a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, joint ventures and strategic alliances. She also has significant experience in structuring and negotiating intellectual property licenses and other complex business relationships. She has counseled clients in a variety of industries, including media, Internet, software, life sciences, and healthcare information and technology.
MEHRPrior to joining Kaye Scholer, Ms. Wound was an in-house attorney at a prominent media company in New York, where she served as general counsel of various units within its business media and newspapers divisions. Ms. Wound advised on all aspects of her clients' businesses, and has extensive working knowledge of the legal issues relating to traditional media, new media, healthcare information publishing and electronic databases.
Ms. Wound began her career at Coudert Brothers LLP, where her practice focused on the representation of pharmaceutical, biotechnology and other life sciences clients.
Ms. Wound is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
