Michael Damast is a partner in the Real Estate Department of Kaye Scholer's New York office. He has extensive experience representing investment banks and other institutional lenders in the origination and securitization of first mortgage debt, mezzanine loans, bridge loans, preferred and common equity investments and other structured finance products. In recent years, he has been involved with many of the largest and most complex securitized mortgage and mezzanine financings completed in the market. He also has broad experience in other areas of commercial real estate, including the representation of clients in the acquisition and disposition of office buildings, hotels, shopping centers and other real estate projects.
