Caroline Harcourt represents investment banks and institutional investors in connection with the origination, securitization and sale of mortgage and mezzanine loans involving a wide range of properties, including office buildings, hotels, apartment buildings and shopping centers. She has extensive experience in the drafting and negotiation of intercreditor arrangements. She has also handled numerous forbearance arrangements, work-outs and deeds-in-lieu on behalf of mortgage and mezzanine lenders.
Caroline also represents opportunity funds in the sale, purchase, ground leasing, financing and refinancing of real estate projects, and in the creation of joint ventures for the ownership of such projects. She has also represented developers, owners and tenants in all aspects of real estate, including site assemblages, acquisitions and dispositions, mixed-use development projects, leases and ground leases, development arrangements, easements and condominium arrangements.
Caroline received her BA, cum laude, from Princeton University and her JD from Columbia Law School. She is the former President of WX, New York Women Executives in Real Estate.
