Javier Stark is an Associate in the Corporate Department of the New York office of Kaye Scholer.
Mr. Stark advises clients on a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, public and private securities offerings and corporate finance. Mr. Stark also advises U.S. and international companies, both private and public, on general corporate matters, including corporate governance and securities laws compliance. In addition, he has experience representing financial institutions and other borrowers and lenders in secured lending and structured finance transactions. Mr. Stark is a member of Kaye Scholer’s Recruiting Committee and is an interviewer with the Georgetown Alumni Admissions Program in New York City.
Mr. Stark is a graduate of Georgetown University‘s Walsh School of Foreign Service and a cum laude graduate of Boston College Law School, where he was Senior Editor of the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter-Digest and recipient of the Russell G. Murphy and Frederic N. Halstrom Awards, both for outstanding work in advocacy competitions. Prior to joining Kaye Scholer, Mr. Stark interned with the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
Mr. Stark is fluent in Spanish.
