Regulatory Developments at Goldman Sachs

Employment & Labor practice head John Geelan will participate in the “Employment Related Regulatory Developments” breakout session at the Goldman Sachs 11th Annual Hedge Fund Human Capital Management Seminar to be held on October 11, 2016. Geelan’s session will discuss key developments in the employment space that potentially have an impact on hedge fund clients.

The breakout section is designed to be an interactive dialogue and will focus on the following topics:

  • the new wage and hour regulations,
  • the new legislation surrounding protection of trade secrets and other proprietary information, and
  • recent bans on credit and/or criminal background checks.

Held at Goldman Sachs’ headquarters in New York, the conference offers hedge fund participants the opportunity to hear from human resources professionals and industry experts on a number of current topics, including talent management and hiring trends, employment law considerations, leadership and diversity.
