Golodner to Discuss Board-Level Concerns at
Privacy + Security Forum

October 26, 2016
The Marvin Center 800 21st Street NW Washington, DC 20052

Kaye Scholer Global Cybersecurity & Privacy group leader Adam Golodner will discuss “Privacy and Security at the Board Level: How to Interact with the Board of Directors” on October 26, 2016 as part of the three-day Privacy + Security Forum in Washington, DC.

It is important that GCs, CISOs or CPOs find the right way to talk about security and privacy issues with the board and use language that boards care about and understand. Golodner’s panel will address the important roles a company’s board of directors plays in security and privacy and what issues should regularly be on the board’s agenda. Specifically, his session will focus on the essential elements of the board’s responsibilities for cybersecurity and data privacy by addressing the following questions:

  • What keeps board members up at night?
  • What do they expect from CISOs and CPOs?
  • What is the most effective way to communicate with the board about privacy and security issues?

The three-day forum runs from October 24-26, 2016 and brings together seasoned thought leaders—including privacy and security professionals, chief information officers, experts from NGOs and think tanks, technologists and policymakers in addition to lawyers and academics—with a highly experienced audience to provide in-depth discussion, scenarios and hands-on activities.
