Kaye Scholer to Co-Host “Securing Defense Technology in a Globalized Marketplace” with Beth McCormick
On December 17th, the Hudson Institute and Kaye Scholer’s National Security/CFIUS Practice Group will co-host a presentation by Beth McCormick, Director of the Defense Technology Security Administration in the Department of Defense. Ms. McCormick will discuss securing today’s and tomorrow’s defense technologies in light of these new challenges. She will share her unparalleled knowledge of the needs and means to protect this vital aspect of the nation’s security and strategic posture. The event will take place at the Hudson Institute and Senior Fellow Arthur Herman will serve as moderator.
Following the presentation, there will be a special luncheon at noon with Ms. McCormick and select guests at Kaye Scholer's Washington, DC office. The luncheon will be followed by an afternoon panel discussion on US defense export-import trade with Matthew Borman and Michael Laychak, leading officials from the Defense and Commerce Departments. The panel will conclude at 3 pm.
