William A. Tanenbaum, Partner and International Chair of the Technology, Intellectual Property and Outsourcing Group, hosted "Patent and IP Issues in Outsourcing," a webinar originally webcast on November 14, 2007. The program focused on Mr. Tanenbaum's expectation that providers will compete to own methods that bring success in the market place and seek exclusive rights to these methods under patent laws, and that patent litigation will be the result. The program also offered offensive and defensive steps to protect the rights of providers, customers and consultants.
