William A. Tanenbaum, International Chair of the Technology, Intellectual Property & Outsourcing Group and Partner in the GreenTech Group, chaired the upcoming PLI Conference, "Green Technology Law and Business 2009: Strategies for Finance, Carbon Trading, IT, and Carbon Neutral Policies" in New York on February 6, 2008, and he co-chaired the conference in San Francisco on February 23, 2009. The conferences discussed:
- Legal issues in establishing, investing in and conducting due diligence of Green Technology start-ups and strategic alliances
- Intellectual property as protection for and a barrier to Green Technology
- How to apply for, use and benefit from Green Technology tax credits and government incentive programs
