Kaye Scholer Partner Hans-Joachim Fritz will lead a interactive workshop on “Compliance Issues Related to the Works Constitution” in Frankfurt.
The workshop will explore both the benefits and disadvantages of working directly with the Works Council should an investigation occur related to employee discrimination, unfair labor practices, worker injuries or other related labor and employment issues under Works Constitution laws. He will discuss the difficulty in establishing adequate or fair remuneration should the Works Council determine that a company in not in compliance.
Fritz will draw on several case studies from his labor and employment practice to demonstrate the importance of compliance and potential consequences for those that fail to comply.
