Benjamin Hsing and Grace Pan to Participate in PLI’s Prior Art, Obviousness, and the America Invents Act in 2012

On June 4, 2012, Benjamin Hsing and Grace Pan will speak at PLI’s Prior Art, Obviousness, and the America Invents Act in 2012 in New York. Benjamin Hsing’s session is titled “Old 102(f) & (g) and New 102 (c) (plus Continuity under 102 (d) (27): Joint Ventures and Co-Development.” Grace Pan’s session will be titled “Section 103 and the PTO KSR Guidelines.” Attendees will learn about the arrival of patent reform, its impact on the touchstones of patentability, prior art and obviousness. The program will also feature speakers on the exploration of 103, KSR and understanding the complicated 102 statute including recent re-interpretations, case law, and a look at the statutory revisions.
