Chicago White-Collar Litigation & Investigation Partner Z Scott, Chicago Litigation Senior Counsel Alan Salpeter and Palo Alto Corporate Partner Diane Frankle discussed crisis management in a presentation to the North Shore General Counsel Association titled “Crisis Management: Preparing for and Dealing with the Unexpected.” Drawing on lessons learned from their personal legal careers and major cases in the public eye, the panelists discussed the basic considerations and approaches to crisis management and how to prepare for a crisis, the board's role in crisis preparedness and crisis management, and strategies to navigate legal, business, regulatory and public relations issues after a crisis occurs.
