Golodner to Address Breach Diligence at Investment Company Institute Cybersecurity Forum
Global Cybersecurity and Privacy Group leader Adam Golodner will participate on the “CCO and Board Breach Diligence: The Bitcoin Stops Here” panel at the 2015 ICI Cybersecurity Forum in Washington, DC on November 5.
The panel is intended to provide CCOs and board members with insights into their responsibilities to understand and manage cybersecurity threats and risks, whose magnitude and complexity can be overwhelming. Some of the critical issues the panel will discuss are considerations in performing oversight of their organizations’ cybersecurity program and those of their providers; the potential impact of a cyberattack on their company’s business; gaps in controls; regulatory and litigation exposures; responses to a data breach; and possible additions to data breach incident response plan.
The Investment Company Institute is the leading trade association for the mutual fund and investment company industries. Other event participants include representatives from Vanguard, US Secret Service, Promontory, Brown Brothers Harriman, Alliance Bernstein, State Street, Oppenheimer and the FBI.
