Jungermann Speaks with the Bundeskartellamt’s Andreas Mundt at German Competition Conference 


Frankfurt-based Litigation partner Sebastian Jungermann moderated a discussion with Andreas Mundt, President of the German Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt), at a Frankfurter Kartellrechtsforum (Frankfurt Antitrust Law Forum) event on June 1, 2016. Mundt discussed recent competition developments in connection with big data and privacy, the Facebook investigation, and liability within a group of companies, as well as other current issues of interest.

Other prominent speakers at the antitrust conference, which attracted 100 participants, included MinRat Dr. Armin Jungbluth, discussing how Germany intends to transfer the EU Damages Directive and other issues into national competition law; Fabian Kaiser from the European Commission; and Jan Mühle from the Bundeskartellamt, discussing the European e-commerce sector inquiry and other vertical competition issues.
