Waks Discusses “Sexploitation and Sextortion in the Workplace”

Retired partner Jay Waks, now senior executive vice president & general counsel for Kaye Scholer client American Kennel Club, spoke on the proposed changes in the American Law Institute’s (ALI) Model Penal Code at the NYS Management Attorneys Conference on January 30, 2016. Jenny Yang, President Obama’s Chair of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, spoke at the same program.

Waks is a participant in ALI’s Members Consultative Group for the Model Penal Code’s Sexual Assault and Related Offenses sections, and his remarks addressed the subject of “Sexploitation and Sextortion in the Workplace: A Model Crime?” Litigation associate Yonina Rosenbaum co-authored Waks' program outline of the same title.
