Canner and Benson Present at NBI Seminar on LLC Operating Agreements

Corporate partner Steven Canner and Tax & Private Clients counsel Gregg Benson presented at the National Business Institute's Drafting Workshop on LLC Operating Agreements on February 10, 2016 in Plainview, New York. The full-day seminar covered important considerations in drafting clear, concise and effective operating agreements, including management and economic provisions, issuance and transfer of membership interests, special drafting tips for Series LLCs and various ethics issues.

Canner and Benson’s segment focused on drafting economic provisions such as capital contributions, options for allocating income and losses and distribution arrangements. The seminar was geared toward attorneys of all levels as well as accountants and CLE/CPE credit was provided.
