Kaye Scholer Represents American Securities Capital Partners and NEP Broadcasting in the Acquisition of New Century Productions

Kaye Scholer represented NEP Broadcasting (NEP), an American Securities Capital Partners (American Securities) portfolio company, in its acquisition of the stock of New Century Productions (NCP). NEP provides management, technology and support for events such as the Super Bowl, The Academy Awards, English Premier League Football, Emmy Awards, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report, FA Cup, Champions League, Olympic Games, NASCAR, Asian Games, WWE Wrestling, FIFA World Cup, Wimbledon and French Open Tennis, Grammy Awards, U.S. and British Open Golf, The People's Court, Sesame Street and The Rolling Stones. NCP, a full service remote video production company, owns and operates High Definition and Standard Definition television trucks providing coverage of NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, and NCAA events for ESPN, CBS, FOX, CSTV, MASN, and Comcast SportsNet. NCP's signature events include Sunday Night Baseball, World Series, US Open Tennis and the NCAA Basketball Final Four. The combined companies will have 25 HD and 25 SD mobile units based in the U.S. and U.K. In 2007, Kaye Scholer represented American Securities in its acquisition of a majority interest in NEP Broadcasting. The Kaye Scholer team included Corporate & Finance partners Emanuel Cherney and Sheryl Gittlitz, and Tax partners Sydney Unger and Arthur Woodard.
