Kaye Scholer Represents Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec in an Investment in Natural Gas Exploration Assets

Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and Texas Pacific Group invested $250 million as part of a $1.250 billion investment in certain natural gas exploration assets. The proceeds of the investment will be used by Chesapeake Energy to exploit hydrofracking opportunities in Cleveland, Ohio and Tonkawa, Oklahoma. The team consisted of Partners Jeff Scheine and Mel Cherney and Counsel Patrick Michel.
