Kaye Scholer Represents MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates LTD. in the Acquisition of a Satellite Manufacturing Business from Loral

Kaye Scholer is representing MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (MDA), a Canadian advanced technology information solutions company, in the acquisition of Space Systems/Loral Inc. (SS/L), a Palo Alto, California-based subsidiary of Loral Space & Communications that builds satellites primarily for commercial clients. MDA will pay $875 million to acquire the business. The Kaye Scholer team includes Partners Farhad Jalinous, Sebastian Jungermann and Claudia Higgins; Counsel Greg Jaeger and Peter Danias; and Associate Karalyn Meany.
