Philip Perrotta Named Head of Kaye Scholer’s London Office

September 10, 2015

Kaye Scholer is pleased to announce that Philip Perrotta, co-chair of the firm’s global Aviation Finance & Leasing Practice, has been named the Managing Partner of the London Office. Perrotta assumes the role from Corporate partner Andrew Harris, who has led the London office since he joined Kaye Scholer in 2010.

“Kaye Scholer’s strengths in corporate, structured finance and aviation finance and leasing are naturally aligned with London’s finance-centric economy,” said Kaye Scholer’s managing partner Michael Solow. “Given the London office’s extensive transactional experience around the world, the platform enables us to effectively service our clients in London, Europe, Asia and other pivotal global markets."

London remains a key office for Kaye Scholer’s strategy. Focusing on the financial services and transportation sectors, Perrotta will drive the expansion of the London office’s capabilities in transportation finance, capital markets, projects and project finance, corporate/M&A, financial restructuring, international finance, litigation and tax matters. In his new role, he will apply his many talents to strategy, recruitment and client service.

“I am honored to be asked to lead Kaye Scholer’s efforts in London, to take a leadership role in helping execute the firm’s intelligent strategic plans for its global business and to head an office of such talented lawyers and great people,” said Perrotta. “Clients will benefit from an enhanced focus on legal services and on how they are delivered that will help them maximize their opportunities in a market poised for growth in the corporate and finance arenas.”

Perrotta joined Kaye Scholer in October 2014. He acts for a broad range of significant aircraft lenders, lessors and operators around the world, and over the course of his career has successfully concluded hundreds of transactions. Perrotta’s addition underscored the firm’s focus on rapidly expanding its international Corporate and Finance Practices, and on further strengthening the ties between its global network of offices.
