Daniel Lewin Quoted in BNA Daily Tax Report and Info-Hedge on Changes to UK Domicile Rules

Daniel Lewin, Tax Partner in the London office, was quoted in the BNA Daily Tax Report on February 11, 2008 in the article titled "Hedge Funds on the Firing Line As Details Emerge of U.K. Domicile Shake-Up" and in the January 2008 issue of Info-Hedge in the article titled "Where to Register Your Fund: What Are the Current Issues?" In both articles, Mr. Lewin commented on the potential impact on the U.K. hedge fund industry of advanced plans by the U.K. government to change the tax rules governing foreign citizens residing in the U.K. Mr. Lewin commented the new tax rules may "be a factor in managers deciding to leave the U.K., or leaving it earlier than they had anticipated" and also raise the question of "the number of people that will in the future not come to the U.K. as a result."
