Simon Firth Quoted in Financial News Online

Simon Firth, Partner in the Investment Funds group, was quoted in the June 15, 2009 issue of the Dow Jones Financial News Online, in an article titled "Hedge Funds Covet Ucits Badge." The article discusses the ability of the Ucits qualification to restore confidence in certain funds. Mr. Firth said that " for those hedge funds that qualify, a Ucits wrapper dispels in one fell swoop questions about transparency and lack of regulation that have plagued the offshore model." He also discussed the ability of Ucits to open up new markets: "once you have got Ucits you can passport across Europe, and use the product in certain Asian and South American countries as well."
