“Zynga Headed To IPO-Ville,” Investor’s Business Daily

Emanuel S. Cherney, Partner and Co-Chair of the firm’s Corporate & Finance Department, was interviewed for an article in Investor’s Business Daily titled “Zynga Headed To IPO-Ville.” The article examines the pending IPO of Zynga, a social network game developer, which is further fueling the hot technology IPO market.

Mr. Cherney, commented on the current state of the IPO market, saying “[t]he IPO market has been open for social media and technology, but not for industrial firms. A rise in the industrial type of IPOs would suggest the economy is on a much stronger footing.” He added, “It’s been a choppy year. It has not been tremendously open across the board. I think that will require a broader restoration of confidence in the sustainability of economic recovery.”
