Kaye Scholer Takes First Place in AmLaw’s 2015 Summer Associate Satisfaction Survey

September 15, 2015

Kaye Scholer has tied for first place nationwide and in New York in The American Lawyer’s 2015 Summer Associate satisfaction survey. The firm earned a perfect average overall score of 5 on a 1-to-5 grading scale in nine areas, which measure the quality of work performed by associates, training and guidance offered by the firm, and interactions with partners and associates, among other factors.

Catherine Schumacher, Litigation partner and co-chair of the Kaye Scholer Summer Associates Program, commented to AmLaw that the firm employs just a small number of summer associates, allowing them to have a customized summer experience: “We can accommodate that because we don’t have 60 people to find assignments for.” She also underscored the contributions of the firm’s new recruiting manager, Kiley Bostick, who changed many of the training and development projects and the social events at the firm for summer associates.

The American Lawyer's latest survey of summer associates includes responses from 3,603 summer associates at 142 firms.
