Kaye Scholer Patent Group's Treatise Praised in New York Law Journal Review

August 29, 2008

A review in the August 29 issue of the New York Law Journal praised the Kaye Scholer Patent Group's recently published treatise, Pharmaceutical and Biotech Patent Law, as a "home run." The review, authored by Washington University in St. Louis law professor F. Scott Kieff, said that the book was "clear, easy to read, thorough, thoughtful, and practical." Noting that the book "represents a team effort by the members of one of the leading patent litigation groups in the field of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical devices," Mr. Kieff wrote that "[with] over 25 years' experience, it's no surprise they hit such a home run." After describing the content of the over 900-page treatise, Mr. Kieff concluded that "In the final analysis, this book is a great addition to the library for any legal or business practitioner in the field, as well as for any relevant government office. And it would make a great course book for any law school or continuing education class on the topic."
