Intellectual Property Department Praised in IAM Patent 1000 2013

Kaye Scholer’s Intellectual Property Department was recognized for its New York-based patent litigation practice and licensing capabilities in the second annual IAM Patent 1000 guide. The guide focused on the firm’s strength in life sciences, citing Kaye Scholer as “one of the first general practice outfits to undertake pharmaceutical patent litigation,” and noting that the firm “continues to boast progressive expertise in the sector; the depth of its scientific analysis, coupled with its finely tuned legal reasoning, sets it apart from peers.”

In addition to the practice rankings, Partners Aaron Stiefel and David Barr were ranked for their work in patent litigation, while Partners Adam Golden and William Tanenbaum were recommended for the second year in a row for licensing.
