Pamela Yates Recognized as a Product Liability MVP by Law360

December 1, 2014

Kaye Scholer Partner Pamela Yates was named one of Law360’s 2014 MVPs of the Year in the area of Product Liability. Resident in the firm’s Los Angeles office, Yates' “reputation as a first-chair trial lawyer” and “deft touch with a jury” were noted by the publication as reasons for her inclusion. Law360 also cited Yates' many recent victories, including obtaining a sweepingDaubert win on behalf of Pfizer Inc., a denial of the centralization of two actions filed against Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc., the dismissal of one of those actions soon after, and a unanimous defense verdict in an Engle progeny case on behalf of Philip Morris USA. The full profile is available on the Law360 site.

After reviewing more than 800 submissions from leading law firms around the world, a team of Law360 editors chose 171 lawyers in 29 practice areas to honor as MVPs for their exceptional work in litigation or transactions between October 2013 and October 2014.
