New York Department of Financial Services Releases Final Bitlicense Virtual Currency Regulations

On June 3, 2015, the New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) released its final Bitlicense virtual currency regulations.  Going forward, virtual currency businesses that engage in a broad range of activities involving New York or a New York resident will have to obtain a license from the superintendent .  A copy of the regulations is available here.  A copy of the speech given by Benjamin M.
