The Measures of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce for Registration of Share Pledge
The State Administration for Industry and Commerce (the "SAIC") issued
"The Measures of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce for
Registration of Share Pledge," with an effective date of October 1,
2008. The Measures provide for the procedures for registering the
pledge of shares of a limited liability company or company limited by
shares with local Administrations for Industry and Commerce, which
include procedures for registration of share pledge, amendments thereto
and cancellation of the share pledge. According to the Property Rights
Law of the PRC, the pledge of shares will not become effective before
the registration.
