Stricter Mandatory Requirements in Work Safety for Enterprises Using Dangerous Chemicals

The Administrative Measures on Emergency Plans for Workplace Accidents (the "Measures"), issued by the State Administration of Work Safety and effective May 1, 2009, impose additional requirements upon enterprises that use dangerous chemicals in their production processes. An affected enterprise must engage professionals to examine and evaluate its emergency plan for accidents involving dangerous chemicals, and also file such emergency plan with the relevant work safety administration.
