President Signs Tax Relief Act of 2010

Summary: On December 17, 2010, President Barack Obama signed into law H.R. 4853, the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010 (the “Act”). The Act extends President George W. Bush’s tax cuts for another two years and provides a number of new tax breaks, including estate and gift tax relief.
