Alabama Supreme Court Rejects State Effort to Revisit Judgment in Favor of Novartis

The Alabama Supreme Court on Friday, January 22, 2010, rejected the State of Alabama's application for rehearing in Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation v. State Of Alabama (Appeal from Montgomery County Circuit Court: CV-05-219.52) Case No. 1071759. The Court issued a one line order denying the petition without explanation, with one Justice dissenting. The Court also issued a Certificate of Judgment in favor of Novartis, putting an end to the State's case against Novartis.
