John D. Geelan is Co-Chair of Kaye Scholer’s Employment & Labor group and a member of the Complex Commercial Litigation Department. John is based in the firm’s New York office. His practice concentrates in litigation and counseling in matters relating to all aspects of the employer-employee relationship, including employment discrimination and executive compensation disputes. He has counseled and litigated suits on behalf of technology clients and financial institutions relating to non-competition agreements, trade secrets and employee non-solicitation matters.

Tricia M. Beckles concentrates her practice on complex commercial litigation and employment matters. Ms. Beckles has experience drafting pleadings, agreements and policies including complaints, answers, interrogatories, document requests, declarations, briefs, separation agreements, non-compete agreements, confidentiality agreements, film releases and employment policies. Ms. Beckles has counseled clients on a variety of employment matters including harassment allegations, reductions in force, disciplinary matters, company policies and employee handbooks. She has experience in all aspects of discovery practice, including preparing for and taking depositions; drafting examination scripts, discovery requests and responses; and managing the review and production of documents. Additionally, she has conducted extensive legal and factual research on a broad range of matters including class actions, contract disputes, consumer and common law fraud, right of publicity, fair use, workplace privacy, and retaliation.

Zhe (Kevin) Yu is an Associate in Kaye Scholer’s Shanghai office, which he joined in 2004. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, employment and general corporate advice. Zhe has advised public and private multinationals and private equity funds on the structuring of their operations in China. His experience includes mergers and acquisitions, direct investment, joint ventures, reorganizations and dissolutions. He serves clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, consumer products, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and hospitality. Zhe is a native speaker of Mandarin and is fluent in English.
Yonina Rosenbaum (03/27/14)
Yonina Rosenbaum focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and employment matters. Yonina has a broad range of drafting experience, including legal memoranda, briefs and pleadings, as well as employment agreements and policies. Her trial experience includes drafting pre-trial motions and conducting extensive legal and factual research in a variety of procedural, employment and commercial litigation matters. She has also assisted in arbitrating a partnership dispute.

He has experience defending major corporations in complex state and federal investigations involving healthcare fraud, including allegations of off-label promotion, anti-kickback statute violations, False Claims Act violations, and other issues related to sales, marketing and pricing practices. He has assisted in reviewing pharmaceutical compliance programs and counseling clients on applicable state and federal regulations. Leo is also a contributor to Kaye Scholer’s Deskbook on Internal Investigations, Corporate Compliance and White Collar Issues.
