Tanenbaum is Head of Kaye Scholer’s multidisciplinary, multi-office IP & Technology Transactions Group, which is ranked in the First Tier at the National Level by US News & World Report/Best Lawyers. Bill is also the Head of the firm’s GreenTech & Sustainability Group. Bill was named the “Lawyer of the Year in Information Technology Law in New York in 2013 by Best Lawyers. Bill’s practice focuses on the development and deployment of information technology and technology services for Fortune 500 and other companies. His practice includes litigation and transactions involving IP, IT, outsourcing, data security-related issues and technology, and data sharing. He also focuses on Healthcare IT, strategic IP counseling, IT and IP aspects of corporate transactions and Government IT. He assists clients in using Big Data and analytics, cloud and mobile computing, and social media and in integrating them into existing IT systems and business processes.

Sydney Unger is the former Chair of the Tax Department. He practices in the area of tax law with a concentration in renewable energy, corporate and joint venture matters. He has considerable experience in working with clients in renewable energy project financing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and bankruptcy workouts, leveraged leasing transactions and IRS and New York controversy matters.

Aaron Rubinstein is a Partner in the Litigation Department and Chair of the Financial Services Litigation Practice Group. Aaron recently completed a twelve-year term as Chair of the Litigation Department. He has 35 years of experience representing defendants and plaintiffs in complex commercial litigations, including securities, commodities, derivatives and contract claims. He handles both private suits, including class actions and shareholder derivative actions, and proceedings before government enforcement agencies. His representations have been of a wide variety of clients, including public and privately held corporations, directors of such companies, individuals, and some of the largest financial institutions, both domestic and international.

Randall Stempler has extensive experience in complex outsourcing and technology transactions, including BPO and ITO transactions, E-Commerce, the Internet and intellectual property licensing.
