Justin Johnson is an Associate in the Corporate and Finance Departments in the Los Angeles office. His areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, finance, securities, private equity and general corporate advice. He has represented various companies in industries ranging from entertainment, media and telecommunications, technology, defense and aerospace, manufacturing, wind power and renewable energy, retail, and financial banking.

Justin received his juris doctorate, with distinction, from Stanford Law School.

Joel Greenberg is the Senior Corporate Partner and Co-Chair of the Canada Group at Kaye Scholer. He concentrates in U.S. and cross-border mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies, representation of financial sponsors, and securities transactions. He also advises publicly held and private companies on a wide variety of corporate governance and day-to-day corporate as well as transactional matters. He is a former Chair (2006–2009) of the Committee on Mergers & Acquisitions of the American Bar Association Section of Business Law.

Dr. Sebastian Jungermann (04/29/13)

Dr. Sebastian Jungermann is a partner in Kaye Scholer’s Frankfurt office and heads the German Competition and Antitrust Practice. Sebastian advises clients regarding German and European competition and antitrust laws, including German, EU and multi-jurisdictional merger control proceedings, cartel proceedings, abuse-of-dominance proceedings, litigation, compliance programs, as well as internal audits and contractual advice. Sebastian represents his clients before courts, the German Federal Cartel Office, the European Commission as well as the US Department of Justice. Sebastian further advises in the fields of corporate law, IP, data protection, outsourcing and other technology-related areas. In addition, Sebastian is involved in international litigation, including pre-trial discovery proceedings in support of US litigation.

Dr. Thomas A. Jesch, LL.M. (04/10/13)

Dr. Thomas A. Jesch joined Kaye Scholer in March 2006. He focuses on the areas of tax law, investment funds and private equity. Dr. Jesch specializes in advising fund managers and fund investors on tax-optimized structures.

Andrew Harris is the Managing Partner of Kaye Scholer’s London office. His practice focuses on private equity transactions. He has considerable experience in MBOs, M&A transactions, restructurings and disposals/exits. He acts for private equity houses, management teams and both listed and non-listed corporate entities.

Elizabeth C. Sluder (03/28/13)
Elizabeth Sluder is an Associate in the Finance Department of the Los Angeles office, where her primary practice areas include finance, fund formation, private equity and general corporate advice. In finance, she represents lenders and borrowers in secured lending, private banking and mezzanine and junior capital financing, and has represented clients in connection with development financing for wind power projects, sports franchise financing and large syndicated credit facilities. Her experience also includes representing insurance companies seeking premium tax credits in certified capital company offerings in Alabama and Texas. In addition, Elizabeth represents clients during the formation and negotiation of investment fund vehicles, and has represented onshore and offshore funds, and SBIC funds. She also represents clients in general corporate matters.
