Tanya Blocker is an Associate in the Complex Commercial Litigation Department of the firm’s New York office. Since joining Kaye Scholer, Ms. Blocker has represented financial institutions and corporations in commercial and corporate litigation, including breach of contract and fraudulent conveyance claims.
Ms. Blocker’s pro bono experience includes successfully second-chairing a trial with the New York City Law Department against Section 1983 claims brought against city police officers. She has also conducted and defended numerous depositions, and tried small claims matters in various tort actions on behalf of the City Law Department’s Queens Torts Division. Ms. Blocker also has an ongoing relationship with the Bronx School of Law, Government & Justice, as a coach for the high school’s mock trial team.
