Dov Bobker is an Associate in the Real Estate Department of Kaye Scholer’s New York office. He has experience representing investment banks and other institutional lenders in the origination and restructuring of mortgage and mezzanine loans. His practice focuses on  acquisition financing and refinancing of commercial real estate properties, including hotels, retail properties, shopping malls, office buildings and multi-family properties.

Dov’s practice also includes work on commercial mortgage-backed securitizations and loan portfolio purchase and sale transactions.

The senior mezzanine financing was originated as part of a $420 million recapitalization transaction that also included the simultaneous closing of new first mortgage and junior mezzanine loans for these mall properties. The recapitalization required new intercreditor arrangements with the trustee for already existing public bond financing for the Carousel Mall.
