Piper Brock has practiced law in the area of aircraft and equipment finance and leasing for over 20 years. She has experience in structuring, negotiating, documenting and closing complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including leveraged and operating leases, project financings, lease portfolio and other securitizations, leveraged buyouts, and secured and unsecured lending transactions. She has extensive experience assisting clients in developing and implementing pre-petition workout strategies for troubled lease portfolios and in working on behalf of creditor and lessor clients as part of a post-petition reorganization team. Her asset experience includes aircraft, cogeneration facilities, vessels, railcars, satellites and commercial real estate ("big box" retail space and convention centers).
Ms. Brock's clients have included major domestic and foreign commercial banks and other financial institutions, equity investors, operating lessors, airlines and other lessees, insurance companies and developers.
Ms. Brock was named one of aviation's "Wonder Women" in the October 2007 issue of Airfinance Journal.
