Hanna Cohen has worked on a wide array of intellectual property matters, including pharmaceutical and telecommunications litigations, licensing, and pharmaceutical and biotechnology opinions. Her experience includes drafting briefs for discovery motions, summary judgment and claim construction, as well as pre-trial and post-trial motions, drafting agreements, evaluating patents, working with technical experts to prepare expert reports, and preparing experts to testify in depositions and at trial. Ms. Cohen has also argued before the New York Supreme Court in commercial and public interest matters.
Before attending law school, Ms. Cohen spent two years conducting research regarding neurotransmitter transporters in the Pharmacology Department of the Yale School of Medicine, where she co-authored “Cysteine-Scanning Mutagenesis of the Fifth External Loop of Serotonin Transporter” Biochemistry 2004,43(26):8510-6.
