Ira Ginsberg is an Associate in Kaye Scholer’s Complex Commercial Litigation Department. He focuses his practice on general litigation, white collar litigation, internal investigations, and compliance counseling. Ira has experience in all phases of civil litigation, including drafting briefs, managing discovery, conducting depositions and trial preparation. He also has experience counseling pharmaceutical companies on legal and regulatory compliance issues related to marketing practices, and representing clients in responding to a variety of civil and criminal government inquiries.
Ira has an active pro bono practice. He recently represented a former federal inmate who claimed two employees of Manhattan’s Metropolitan Correctional Center violated his First Amendment rights by retaliating against the inmate for corresponding with his lawyer. Ira helped defeat the defendants’ Summary Judgment motion and guide his client to a favorable settlement. Ira is also a member of Kaye Scholer’s Recruiting Committee.
Ira received his JD from New York University School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the NYU Journal of Legislation and Public Policy.
