Lauretta Moran is counsel in the Finance Department of Kaye Scholer’s Chicago office, and practices in the Real Estate, Finance and Structured Finance practice groups. She has over 30 years’ experience representing lenders, agents, credit enhancers and borrowers in complex commercial real estate and corporate finance transactions. She has represented lenders in several hospitality, commercial, and mixed-use property finance transactions, B-piece buyers in purchasing CMBS bonds, and issuers in real estate securitization transactions. She has also represented buyers and sellers in real estate acquisitions and sales, landlords and tenants in commercial leasing, and she has represented lenders in real estate restructuring and workout transactions.
Ms. Moran is a member of the bar of Illinois. Ms. Moran received her master of arts degree from the University of Chicago in 1974 and her law degree from the University of Chicago in 1983. She was a partner at McDermott, Will & Emery before joining Kaye Scholer.
